The Jahn's enjoyed time at the family vacation home in Tillamook and extended trips in their motor home. They both loved deep-sea fishing in their boat, the "Pigeon Gru."

She and Shirley became a favored resident and guest of Morning Point where Aletha's room became the unofficial "break room" for the staff.

She was loved by her children: daughter, Cathie JoAnne Jahn (deceased); daughter, Shirley Dianne Parrott and husband Richard; and son, Mervin Dale Jahn and wife Tina.
