Lawrence M. Danko, age 69, passed away on April 6, 2017. Loving husband of Nancy, beloved father of Anne Marie and Michael, and dearest brother of Geraldine (Carl) Pace, Patricia (Frank) Ray and Paul (Shari) Danko. He is survived by many nieces, nephews and lifelong friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Stanley and Margaret Danko.

Larry was a lifelong Detroit Tigers baseball fan, he loved to travel and was never afraid to tackle a new challenge or experience. A true DIY connoisseur, he taught us all many life lessons in travel (you pack it, you carry it), sports (it's always the same ol' Lions), home repair (buy the tool with the most power), literature/politics (make time to read the greats and be entertained by the crazies) and professionalism (speak up, stand up, get the degree). A fearless supporter of science and research; Larry passed away after a heroic 3 ½ year battle with pancreatic cancer.

Gone too soon, he will be remembered always and missed more than words can describe.

Funeral Mass at the Cathedral of the Incarnation followed by interment of ashes at Calvary Cemetery in Nashville, TN. All are welcome.
