Richard C.Whittaker of Brentwood, TN died peacefully January 5 with his wife and daughter by his side. Survived by wife, Ruth; daughter, Symantha (Jesus) Maxwell; and grandchildren, Jacqueline Maxwell and Christian Delfin. Preceded in death by father, Richard D. Whittaker and mother, Rene. Attended Kemper Military School and served in the U.S. Navy. Vice President of Whittaker Marine and Manufacturing where they manufactured and sold Whit-Craft houseboats. Much of his career he sold automobiles and briefly sold real estate at Crye Lieke of Brentwood. Memorial Service: Brentwood Baptist Church, January 27 with visitation at 1pm, service at 2pm, and reception to follow.
